Take the short quizz to discover just how hypnotisable you are!
As you take this journey into the hypnotic world of Isaac Lomman you will learn how to increase your control over when, how deep and with whom you explore this deep trance state of mind.
Lomman is back at the Adelaide Fringe for the fourth year in a row. His show on Wednesday February 17th featured a full house of eager awaiting fans. When it came time to ask for volunteers from the audience who would like to be hypnotised Lomman was turning people away. Only able to take 12 guests on stage for per show, this show had 25 willing volunteers. However Comedy Hypnosis Entranced is playing for the duration of the Fringe and with a different show every night, guests can always go more than once.
Having seen Lomman twice before, his shows never disappoint. They always offer an element of surprise, even if you've seen a hypnosis show before. Lomman slowly takes the 12 volunteers into a stage of hypnosis where they are completely aware of their surroundings, but they feel as if they're daydreaming.
While under hypnosis, the participants believed they were part of a band, they fought over $100 bills, that were actually serviettes and saw the audience as if they were completely naked, just of name of few highlights of this hour long show.
The participants get the most out of the show, waking up from hypnosis feeling like they've had a 2 hour nap and a 1 hour relaxation massage and unaware that the show had even begun let alone finished. They will stay in this stage of hypnosis until they take a sip of their next beverage and then the night will come flooding back to them.
Don't miss your chance to see Isaac Lomman in Comedy Hypnosis Entranced at this year's Adelaide Fringe. Highly recommend. 5/5 Stars.

Weekend Notes
Isaac Lomman has that deep voice that you expect a hypnotist to have to put you into a deep trance like state but what makes this man a genius is, his ability to do this in front of a live audience. When you picture a hypnotist, you expect to see a man in a suit with a watch. Well Isaac is a very tall suave looking man in a suit (bow tie and all) with a really deep voice but I have to say, there is no swaying pendant watch to be found! In this hour-long show in The Peacock, Isaac spends the first 10-15 minutes getting his 12 willing audience volunteers into a hypnotic trance-like state.
Even this seemingly long time getting them set up isn’t boring, as Isaac keeps the crowd entertained with his quick hypnotist wit and some very animated facials. Over the course of the hypnotic induction, Isaac loses a few but, as he explains at the beginning of the show, sometimes it is just not their day! He believes that anybody anywhere can be hypnotised; it is just that some are harder than others.
Although Isaac hosts the show, the real stars are the guests who volunteer to be hypnotised. You will be amazed at how much a simple suggestion from Isaac, seems hilarious! It is very much situational comedy and as you don’t know who or what is getting up on stage each night, you never know what may happen.
Tonight’s show was sold out and every night is a different show – with different volunteers and different suggestions. I’m not sure if you will be satisfied seeing this hilarious and family-friendly show just once. The volunteers are ridiculously entertaining and you might be drawn back for a second or even third time!!!

The Clothesline
Sceptics were turned into true believers on the opening night of Comedy Hypnosis! Entranced, as Isaac Lomman cast a spell of hilarity on his audience.
After a run of successful shows and high profile TV spots, the rising star of the Adelaide Fringe had eager volunteers fighting for a place on his stage, and was quick to have them under his control.
Some were influenced, others completely mesmerised. And the results were nothing less than hilarious. Lomman had one man speaking in what he believed was an alien language, while another provided the audience with a translation.
Within minutes all of the volunteers switched from a state of perceived drunkenness to believing they were highly skilled Irish dancers.
Another young man took numerous calls from celebrity Will Ferrell, via his shoe. The same man was also instructed to hysterically laugh every time someone shook his hand, which Fringe goers were seen taking advantage of long after the conclusion of the show.
Inviting a group of unknown volunteers to play a central role in your show every night would seem a high risk game plan, but both Lomman and his audience thrive on the unpredictability. There’s nothing hocus pocus about Comedy Hypnosis! Entranced. It’s good, clean fun for adults and kids alike.

Rip It Up
THE energy inside the Gluttony tent is brimming with nervous excitement, as the audience prepares itself for an hour of insight into the fascinating world of hypnotism.
Then Adelaide’s own Isaac Lomman steps on to the stage, looking the part in a navy velvet suit jacket with black lapels and bow tie.He explains what hypnotism is all about, allaying some fears with a simple trick that allows the whole audience to get a sense of what ‘going under’ is like. Then he calls for volunteers from the audience, and there’s a mad dash to the stage.
With a calm, powerful voice, repetitive phrases and clicking fingers, Lomman casts his spell over the chosen volunteers. Then the fun begins. From making them smell, itch or think they’ve got a spider on their hands, to getting them to dance across the stage to YMCA, there are plenty of laughs for the audience at the expense of those who’ve been hypnotised. Unfortunately on this night, not all tricks worked as planned, as some volunteers fell out of their hypnotic state
— but that’s the catch when you’re doing a live show like this.Jump in and volunteer to by hypnotised if you dare — you’ll enjoy the show even more if you do.

Got questions about the experiences we offer? You're in the right place!
Yes, practically everyone can be hypnotised as long as they are engaged in the process, even if it's only the smallest amount of attention being put into the process a hypnotic response can occur. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused imagination, similar to being deeply engrossed in a book or movie. However, the depth of hypnosis varies from person to person, and factors like willingness, trust, and the hypnotist’s technique all play a role.
Hypnosis is very real! On stage, volunteers enter a heightened state of focus and imagination, responding to suggestions in a way that seems effortless. In hypnotherapy, hypnosis is used to access the subconscious mind for positive change. Scientific studies confirm that hypnosis affects brain activity, making it much more than just pretending as it's been used in surgery for centuries as well as painless child birth, sports performance, anxiety and habit control all with scientific studies concluding it's efficacy.
Hypnosis feels different for everyone. Some describe it as deep relaxation, while others feel highly focused and alert. It’s similar to the moments just before falling asleep—your body is relaxed, but your mind is still aware. In entertainment settings, people may experience vivid imagination and heightened suggestibility, making it fun and engaging and high energy, even when they are in a deep hypnotic trance!
No, it’s impossible to get "stuck" in hypnosis. If a hypnotist were to stop speaking, the person would either return to full awareness on their own or drift into a light sleep and wake up naturally. Hypnosis is a safe and reversible state that people move in and out of daily (like daydreaming).
Stage hypnosis is entertainment-focused, using suggestion and imagination to create fun and engaging experiences for an audience. Hypnotherapy, on the other hand, is used for personal transformation—helping individuals overcome fears, break habits, improve confidence, and achieve goals. While both use the same principles of hypnosis, their intentions and applications are entirely different. - Isaac does both!
Yes! Self-hypnosis is a powerful technique that allows you to guide yourself into a hypnotic state for relaxation, focus, and self-improvement. Many high performers, athletes, and business leaders use self-hypnosis to boost confidence, manage stress, and enhance productivity. Just like guided meditation, self-hypnosis helps you tap into the subconscious mind to create positive change. With the right techniques, anyone can learn to harness the power of their own mind. Isaac has a powerful Self Hypnosis protocol that he called PeakFlow Mindfulness™ which helps individuals discover their limitless 2 Columnpotential...
